The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.
SASSA is going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency explained it is actually alarmed with regards to the substantial quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance place designed for intervention encounters a high inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to help the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
